Film director Jovan Todorović needed a new portfolio website to showcase his growing body of work, including feature films, commercials, photography projects and writings. In keeping with his eye for detail, the task was to develop a website that not only works well with a variety of often bandwidth-intensive media, but also implements a minimalist layout with pixel-perfect precision.

Before similar solutions were widely available in modern browsers, a complex asset preloading system was developed that uses guesswork to predict users’ click paths in order to fetch more data from the server before it is needed, so that it is immediately available when required. The resulting website feels fast and fluid and does not interfere with the viewing experience.
